PSN Revival Fund & Grants
Preservation isn’t one person’s or one organization’s responsibility—it’s our collective responsibility.
Nashville’s preservation success depends on our ability to scale important historic preservation work throughout our city, ensuring that all communities can protect and celebrate their unique heritage.
A revival fund is a dedicated pool of resources created to support the preservation, repair, and revitalization of historic properties—especially those at risk due to age, neglect, or limited funding. These funds are distributed as grants to property owners, nonprofits, and community groups to help maintain and restore significant historic sites.
The Preservation Society of Nashville recognizes that maintaining historic resources can be especially challenging for low- to moderate-income property owners. By providing direct support through annual revival grants, we can empower the caretakers of historic properties to take action themselves—amplifying and duplicating our preservation impact across the city, rather than being the sole champion or bottleneck for every project. This approach allows preservation to happen on a broader scale, with more voices and hands involved in protecting Nashville’s heritage.
Our first step is to conduct a feasibility study to determine the most effective structure and impact for the revival fund.
We invite you to join our mailing list to receive updates on our progress with the revival fund and upcoming grant opportunities. Together, we can ensure that Nashville’s historic places are preserved and cherished for generations to come.
