Established in 1829 and located in the heart of downtown, Christ Church Cathedral is the oldest Episcopal parish in Nashville. The current Gothic Revival-style structure, completed in 1894, features stunning Tennessee limestone, intricate stained-glass windows, and a soaring bell tower that has long stood as a beacon of community, faith, and resilience. The Cathedral was officially designated as the seat of the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee in 1997, further deepening its historic significance.
